In all honesty, the track is probably going to do that anyway. The descent is actually worse, and you might want to simply give up and throw the truck down the side of the mountain. A sign for ‘Heart Attacks Beach’ shows you both what you’ve come through and what’s yet to come. If you reach the top, you’ve done amazingly well. It’s difficult to get up there, because the track is basically on the side of a mountain and you’re in a massive semi truck. In a truck, you’ll probably run over every single one of them. This track is flanked by steep hillsides to the left and a watery, plunging inconvenience to the right, with only a few weathered wooden posts showing you where to drive. The road past the lighthouse just sort of… runs out, but it’s open grassland and only a few feet to where the track starts. Turn right onto Grapeseed Avenue and then left after the railway line towards the El Gordo lighthouse. Get back on the freeway, heading north up to Grapeseed.
